MEP Project Engineer

About

This full-time, on-site role located in Lagos is for a highly skilled and motivated MEP Project Engineer. In this position, you will oversee and manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing aspects of construction projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing aspects of construction projects from conception to completion.
• Prepare cost estimates.
• Plan and coordinate MEP systems.
• Conduct site inspections.
• Review technical drawings.
• Ensure that all work complies with applicable regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, with strong knowledge of Plumbing, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience and capabilities in Project Management, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and design specifications.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relevant design and project management software.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in MEP-focused engineering or similar projects is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of local regulations and compliance standards in construction is an added advantage.
