As Deputy Project Leader for MEP Construction, you'll play a central role in transforming complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems into seamless modular solutions. What You'll Drive
- Support senior project managers in planning and executing modular MEP construction projects across diverse vertical markets
- Coordinate directly with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely, budget-conscious project delivery
- Oversee detailed MEP installations and guide shop drawing development and field execution
- Champion modular construction methodologies - from fabrication and transport to installation and final commissioning
- Lead kickoff meetings and mentor project teams to ensure cohesion, safety, and accountability
- Conduct site surveys and cost studies to support forecasting and fiscal accuracy
- Identify and implement cost-saving strategies, QA/QC enhancements, and construction best practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally on estimate development using platforms like Accubid
- Manage permits, inspections, and closeout processes to keep projects on track and fully compliant
What You Bring
- Bachelor's in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience with MEP or modular construction - or 3+ years with an advanced degree
- Familiarity with modular construction workflows and MEP systems throughout their full lifecycle
- Experience managing projects in federal, government, commercial, or mission-critical sectors, ranging from $2M-$30M+
- Strong fluency in project scheduling and coordination tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Bluebeam, Excel)
- Knowledge of estimating platforms (Accubid), and Microsoft Office Suite
