Requirements

  • Strong sourcing expertise required, including LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced Boolean search techniques
  • Proven ability to identify, engage, and build relationships with passive candidates
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry or ability to quickly develop technical acumen in MEP disciplines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust with both candidates and hiring managers
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • This role reports to HITT’s Construction Recruiting Manager and will play an important role in elevating sourcing capability, market insight, and recruiting strategy across the broader team
  • You will serve as a subject matter expert in the MEP talent market—bringing insight, strategy, and creativity to how we identify, engage, and ultimately hire specialized talent nationwide
  • Conduct talent mapping and pipeline development for key roles, geographies, and project types, with a strong focus on Mission Critical work
  • Develop and execute targeted recruiting campaigns to attract specialized MEP talent across key markets and project types
  • Partner with HR leadership and Marketing to strengthen HITT’s position as an employer of choice for MEP professionals, including messaging, outreach strategies, and talent engagement approaches
  • Use market insights and data to inform recruiting strategy, influence hiring decisions, and proactively address talent gaps
  • Contribute to the development of targeted outreach and engagement strategies that resonate with highly specialized and passive candidate populations
  • Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers by aligning on role requirements, candidate profiles, and search strategy upfront
  • Provide guidance on market realities, candidate expectations, and competitive positioning—particularly within specialized MEP and Mission Critical talent markets
