MES DATA ENGINEER – Master Data Leader– Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Automotive manufacturing concern in Jeddah is seeking a detail-driven and analytical Process Engineer to join our team, with primary ownership of Master Data Maintenance within MES and ERP systems.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring data integrity, manufacturing accuracy, and operational stability across the value chain. The successful candidate will support engineering change processes, BOM governance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-performance manufacturing environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• 2–5 years’ experience in:
• Process Engineering
• Manufacturing / Production environments
• Master Data or BOM Management
• ERP environments
Preferred Experience
• Strong SAP or ERP Master Data management experience
• Exposure to Engineering Change processes (ECR / ECO)
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Key Responsibilities
Master Data Maintenance
• Create and maintain material master records for raw materials, components, and finished goods
• Manage critical data fields including:
• MRP views
• Procurement type
• Costing structures
• Units of measure
• Material classifications
• Ensure data compliance with internal governance, ISO standards, and audit controls
• Maintain data accuracy within MES and ERP systems
• Support Engineering Change Management (ECR/ECO) processes
BOM Management
• Create, update, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Ensure BOMs align with engineering specifications, design revisions, and manufacturing standards
• Conduct BOM audits, corrections, and standardization initiatives
Process Engineering Support
• Document and analyse manufacturing processes and workflows
• Maintain routing data, work centres, and production versions
• Support new product introductions (NPI) and manufacturing readiness
• Provide training and support to production and planning teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
• Translate engineering drawings and specifications into manufacturing data
• Contribute to cost accuracy, inventory integrity, and production efficiency

• Excellent cross-functional communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment
• Strong MS Excel and ERP system navigation skills

EXPATRIATE REQUIREMENTS
• Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia
• Valid passport and eligibility for Saudi work visa / Iqama
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours during launches and ramp-ups
