The "Ingénieur Méthodes" position is a key role within the company.

You will be responsible for optimizing and developing manufacturing and assembly processes in the fields of electronics or electromechanics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and define the procedures to follow for each production line, taking into account best practices and current standards.
• Formalize the processes and procedures necessary for the smooth operation of the organization.
• Create manufacturing files and detailed work procedures for assembly operations, ensuring their compliance.
• Support the production of pre-series and the launch of product industrialization, for both internal production and that of suppliers.
• Analyze existing manufacturing and assembly processes to identify opportunities for improvement in terms of efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality control teams to ensure smooth communication and effective coordination of activities.
• Participate in the selection of production and assembly equipment, ensuring its compatibility with the technical specifications of the products.
• Train and supervise operators on work methods and best practices, and ensure they master the procedures. At the end of the training, the methods engineer will certify the trained operator and manage accreditations and their renewal.
• Supervise the implementation of new methods and ensure their effectiveness and compliance with established quality standards.
• Conduct production start-up audits to assess process compliance.
• Draft purchase specifications for suppliers, ensuring consistency with technical specifications and expected product qualities.
• Provide technical support to suppliers.
• Participate in supplier qualification and assess their ability to produce in accordance with standards and compliance deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience as an engineer in a similar field.
• Solid knowledge of electronic or electromechanical assembly processes.
• Basic knowledge of electronics or electromechanics, with the ability to understand the principles of electronic circuits.
• Knowledge of IPC A610 and IPC A620 standards would be a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with production, engineering, and quality control teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to continuous process improvement.
• Good level of English.
