Job Summary

As a Microsoft Account Executive, you will master SHI's value proposition to not only meet but exceed revenue and profit goals. Your primary role will involve crafting strategic sales approaches while building and nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective customers. You will identify lucrative sales opportunities and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer objectives. Your efforts will also include enhancing market awareness through active participation in industry events and maintaining your knowledge of industry trends.

Role Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Mastering SHI's value proposition to consistently surpass revenue and profit objectives while developing effective sales strategies.
  • Cultivating relationships with existing clients and establishing new ones via targeted sales tactics such as cold calling, networking, and meetings.
  • Identifying potential opportunities in the sales pipeline to achieve set targets and develop business with both existing and new customers.
  • Collaborating with sales management to proactively manage sales opportunities to meet or exceed quarterly and annual goals.
  • Building strategic partnerships with internal SHI teams and industry partners to drive business growth.
  • Understanding customer objectives, IT priorities, and initiatives to provide tailored solutions.
  • Effectively communicating SHI's extensive portfolio of products, services, and capabilities to clients and partners.
  • Maintaining awareness of SHI's competitors and effectively positioning our offerings to win new business.
  • Engaging with various departments at SHI to uncover new business opportunities and leverage support resources.
  • Enhancing SHI's market presence by participating in local and regional industry events and affiliations.
  • Continually educating yourself on industry trends, products, and market conditions.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales experience.
  • Ability to spend 50% or more of work time outside the office, meeting with customers.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites within the designated territory and attend SHI, partner, and customer events.
  • Possess or the ability to obtain required sales and/or technical certifications within the first 90 days of employment.

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $80,000 - $200,000, which includes both base salary and bonuses. Compensation will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Benefits may include medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending options.
