Protiviti is looking for a Technology Consulting Senior Consultant to join our growing Enterprise Data & Analytics team.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor, train, and coach Interns and Consultants as you facilitate the successful completion of project work plans.
  • Identify areas of risk and opportunities to increase efficiency.
  • Strengthen relationships and deepen your abilities to communicate, gain trust, and network with client personnel and professional associates.
  • At the direction of Managers, accept responsibility for decision-making in areas including establishing project scope and work plans, project staffing, preparation of deliverables, and application of methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., MIS, CIS, Analytics).
  • 2+ years working in professional services or related industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Professional certification preferred: Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineering Associate (highly desired), Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience designing and delivering modern data engineering solutions with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks.
  • Motivated to learn and interested in business intelligence reporting and data engineering.
  • Passionate about building client relationships and providing exceptional experiences.

  • Experience articulating value of Microsoft Fabric and BI solutions, data storytelling.

  • Experience optimizing data implementations for performance.
  • Knowledge of administering and maintaining data solutions.
  • Proficiency in data engineering including data movement, integration, transformation, and cleansing.
  • Ability to design and manage data warehousing solutions.
  • Skills in data modeling including entity-relationship, dimensional, and semantic modeling.
  • Experience creating data visualizations and interactive dashboards.
  • Ability to perform data analytics and exploratory data analysis.
  • Some experience with data governance frameworks and policies.
  • Understanding of data security practices including encryption and access control.
  • Some knowledge of networking for Azure data solutions.
  • Understanding of DevOps or DataOps concepts and deployment of Azure data solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with Python, Spark, C#, Java, Scala, R, DAX, MDX, or M is a bonus.
  • Bonus: Experience with Data Science and/or Machine Learning.

Work Model

Protiviti practices a hybrid model, combining in-person work with remote work. The ratio of remote to in-person varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. Work includes local Protiviti offices and client sites, with possible local or out-of-state travel.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $110,000.00 - $164,000.00 per year
  • Annual bonus plan with 10% target opportunity
  • Total cash range estimated at $121,000.00 - $180,400.00
