Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Fabric Engineer to design, develop, and manage scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building data pipelines, developing notebooks, and implementing monitoring solutions to ensure high-performance and reliable data workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Fabric data pipelines for ETL/ELT processes
- Create and manage Notebooks (Python / PySpark) within Microsoft Fabric
- Configure monitoring, alerts, and logging mechanisms for pipelines and workloads
- Integrate Application Insights for performance tracking and observability
- Ensure data reliability, scalability, and optimization of workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in pipeline and notebook execution
- Work with various data sources including APIs, databases, and flat files
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for implementation and deployment
- Follow best practices for data engineering, governance, and security.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Expertise in Fabric Data Pipelines
- Proficiency in Python / PySpark (Notebooks)
- Experience in Monitoring & Alerts configuration
- Hands-on experience with Application Insights integration
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Good understanding of ETL/ELT concepts
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with Azure Data Factory
- Knowledge of API integrations
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization
- Familiarity with Git / Version Control systems
Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Azure / Microsoft Fabric
- Proven experience in ETL pipeline development
- Hands-on experience with notebook-based data processing
