Responsibilities
- Design and create scalable, maintainable automated test frameworks utilizing Tricentis Tosca and additional tools.
- Analyze business and functional requirements of P&C insurance systems, crafting effective automated test strategies.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, API, and accessibility testing for web and backend systems.
- Collaborate with teams including business analysts, developers, and product owners to ensure thorough test coverage and quality.
- Execute automated test cases, log defects, and monitor their resolution using Azure DevOps.
- Develop automated tests for various systems including APIs, UI, and backend services.
- Provide mentorship to junior QA engineers and review their test scripts.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enhance efficiency.
- Analyze test results to identify trends, offering actionable insights.
- Maintain test documentation and promote knowledge sharing across QA teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing, ideally in the P&C insurance domain.
- 3-5 years of experience in test automation.
- Expertise in automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Strong SQL skills for backend/database testing.
- Experience in API testing with tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Thorough understanding of Agile QA methodologies, including test planning and defect management.
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Certifications (Optional)
- Tricentis Tosca Automation Specialist Level 1 & 2
- ISTQB Certified Tester - Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer
- Certified Agile Tester (CAT)
- Certified Jenkins Engineer (CJE)
- Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
Salary Range
$56,000.00 - $130,000.00
The salary range provided is indicative and may vary based on factors such as experience, credentials, location, and other relevant aspects.
Location
This role may be based out of any of the following office locations: New York, NY; Parsippany, NJ; Conshohocken, PA; Wilkes‑Barre, PA; Alpharetta, GA.
