Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assisting in requirements gathering, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software and applications.
  • Designing, coding, testing, integrating, and documenting software solutions.
  • Participating in internal review processes for software components and systems.
  • Collaborating with project managers and engineering professionals.
  • Tackling defined scope, schedule, and expected problems.
  • Adhering to established development practices for configuration management.
  • Acquiring necessary program access post-start.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and at least two years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, or Java.
  • Experience with real-time software, firmware, and hardware integration.
  • Eligibility for an Interim Secret Level U.S. government issued security clearance prior to starting the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, systems software design, and operating architectures.
  • Experience with assembly, C/C++ programming, and structured programming concepts.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented design and Unified Modeling Language.
  • Knowledge of statistical and numerical methods.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $68,900 - $131,100, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and other unique offerings. Specific benefits vary by business unit and collective bargaining agreements.
