Maximus is seeking a dedicated Mid-level Front End Developer to join our team, contributing to vital programs in national security and defense. As a reliable federal partner, we support mission-critical initiatives, and we're looking for professionals committed to accountability and high-impact work.

This opportunity is contingent upon contract award and availability. Selected candidates will receive a contingent offer of employment that will be finalized upon successful contract award, position availability, and authorization to proceed.

Important: This position requires on-site work in Fort Meade, MD, five days a week, and necessitates an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in front-end development tasks.
• Utilize analytical skills for process improvement and requirements definition.
• Engage in analysis, planning, and development of functional requirements and architecture.
• Create technical design documents, mockups, wireframes, and other related materials for review.
• Implement modifications to Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs) and optimize user experience.

Minimum Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to work on-site at Fort Meade, MD, up to five days a week.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; a Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in software development with proficiency in object-oriented and scripting languages.
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in front-end web design and applications testing.
• Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira for 3 years.
• 5 years of experience with tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• Proficiency in at least five of the following technologies: Apache, Ember, JavaScript, Jaguar, Java, Cricket, Node.
• Demonstrated ability in agile development and user-centric design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile Test-Driven development.
• Integration experience within DoD DevSecOps environments.
• 5 years of experience with CI/CD software development.
• Familiarity with UX design tools like Sketch or InVision.

Compensation

Compensation is based on various factors including job location, education, training, experience, and market analysis. Annual salary ranges from $100,000 to $130,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
