Overview

Join our dynamic Data Center Mission Critical Group as a Civil Structural Engineer. In this fulfilling role, you will create precise engineering documents that meet industry standards, addressing client needs while building lasting relationships and ensuring project success. Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to engineering design and analysis for data centers and new building systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Engineering Leadership: Spearhead innovative solutions in the power industry with expert design and analysis of advanced building systems.
  • Seismic & Structural Expertise: Guarantee safety and resilience through accurate seismic and structural analysis, compliant with the latest codes and standards.
  • Strategic Project Management: Lead projects with clarity and vision, fostering teamwork to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
  • Design Precision & Real-World Impact: Create detailed designs, calculations, and documentation, converting concepts into actionable plans.
  • Field Excellence & Hands-On Insight: Perform site inspections and offer practical support to ensure flawless construction and design execution.
  • Collaborative Innovation: Partner with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive engineering solutions that elevate project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
  • 3 years of experience in a design engineering role in commercial and critical infrastructure environments for mid-level; 6+ years for senior-level roles.
  • Proficient in structural calculations and design preparation.
  • PE or SE license is preferred or must be obtained within the next two years.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Basic proficiency in CAD software, with ETABS software experience highly preferred.
  • Exceptional writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively as an individual contributor and in team settings.
  • Capable of leading multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs at client sites.
  • Willingness to travel 15-25% of the time; travel duration will vary based on project needs.

Pay Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $183,000.00 /Yr.
