Mid to Principal Level Electrical Engineer

Overview

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Mid to Principal Level Electrical Engineer to join our Data Center Group. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional engineering solutions for complex, mission-critical projects. You will leverage your technical expertise, leadership skills, and collaborative spirit to take designs from concept to execution. Our open positions can be found in the following office locations: Emeryville, CA; Charlotte, NC; Houston, TX; Reston, VA; Dallas, TX; Naperville, IL; Ohio; and Washington.

Responsibilities

Each day offers a dynamic mix of engineering tasks and collaborative efforts. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing precise, high-quality engineering documents, including drawings, sketches, and calculations in alignment with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Producing engineering documents that comply with client specifications and our internal procedures.
• Staying updated on relevant industry codes, standards, and design techniques applicable to the data center sector.
• Building strong relationships with clients through effective communication and the delivery of high-quality engineering products.
• Collaborating with other disciplines to ensure design compatibility.
• Traveling to sites for client interactions and project work, including conducting walk-downs.
• Acting as the Responsible Engineer (RE) for the discipline scope on projects.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• A minimum of 3 years of engineering design experience.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and practices related to power systems and data centers.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel).
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset to work effectively in teams while also being able to contribute individually.
• Willingness to travel 15%-25% of the time, with travel durations varying based on project needs.

Pay Range

USD $95,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
