Rise Talent Advisors is a US-based staffing firm headquartered in Utah. We place candidates into IT, software, fintech, accounting, construction, and data centre roles across the United States.

We're small on purpose. Founder-led, lean, and built around one principle: every candidate we send to a client has been vetted by a senior recruiter not pushed through a junior pipeline to hit quota. We compete on quality and trust, not volume.

We are growing. The owner currently runs every search personally. We are now bringing on a senior recruiter to help carry the load. That is this role.

Duties & Responsibilities

What You'll Do

This is a real recruiting role. Not list-pulling, not coordination.

  • Source candidates across LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Apollo, and our internal database for active US-based roles
  • Phone-screen candidates, typically 15–25 minute first conversations to assess fit, motivation, and credentials
  • Write clear, useful screening summaries (a recruiter's read, not a transcript)
  • Manage candidate communication through to submittal: scheduling, follow-ups, status updates
  • Push qualified candidates to the founder for final vetting before they go to clients
  • Work in our ATS (Manatal) and CRM (Notion) to keep records clean

Client calls remain with the founder for the first 60 days while you build context. As you prove the work, scope expands.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Who We're Looking For

  • 2 to 5+ years recruiting experience. Tech, contract staffing, or agency-side preferred. Corporate TA experience is fine if you've sourced and screened, not just coordinated.
  • Native or near-native English. You will be on the phone with US candidates who need to feel like they are speaking with a peer.
  • Confident on calls. You can carry a real conversation with a senior software engineer, project manager, controller, or director-level candidate. You ask good questions, listen, and push back when something is off.
  • Sound judgment. You can tell the difference between a strong candidate and a polished one. You flag concerns early instead of pushing weak candidates through.
  • Self-directed. You run your day without being micromanaged. You ask when you are stuck. You say "not yet" when a candidate is not right.
  • Stable home internet — fibre or strong LTE, with backup power (load-shedding contingency in place)

What Doesn't Work Here

  • If you have only done CV-formatting or candidate database work, this is not the right fit. We need a recruiter, not a coordinator.
  • If you need a lot of structure to be productive, this will not suit you. We are small and moving fast.
  • If you are looking for passive, async-only work, please keep looking. This role has live calls.

The Process

We do not make full hires off interviews alone.

  • Step 1: 30-minute intro call with the founder
  • Step 2: A paid sample project — typically 4–6 hours sourcing for a real open role, paid at the hourly rate. We compare your work to what a senior recruiter should produce.
  • Step 3: If the sample is strong, a 30-day paid trial at 20–25 hrs/week
  • Step 4: Move to ongoing engagement at 25–30 hrs/week, with a path to more hours and broader scope as the business grows
