Middleware Engineer – IBM BAW / Cloud Pak

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Middleware Engineer with hands-on experience in IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) and IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA). The role focuses on installation, configuration, support, and performance optimization of middleware and workflow platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation on Kubernetes / OpenShift
• Support and administer IBM BAW environments (on-prem & cloud)
• Manage middleware stack: WebSphere / Liberty, DB2/Oracle, MQ, FileNet, LDAP
• Perform monitoring, performance tuning, and system health checks
• Handle patches, upgrades, and deployments with minimal downtime
• Automate tasks using Jenkins, Ansible, or scripting (Bash/PowerShell)
• Troubleshoot issues, perform RCA, and ensure system stability
• Implement HA/DR solutions and ensure security compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployments and support

Required Skills:

• 3+ years’ experience in IBM BAW / BPM support
• Strong experience with IBM Cloud Pak (CP4BA) on OpenShift
• Hands-on with WebSphere, Liberty, MQ, DB2/Oracle, Kafka, LDAP
• Experience with Kubernetes / container platforms
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Ansible
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
• Familiar with ITIL tools (JIRA, ServiceNow)
