Geologist

An exploration company in Kimberley is hiring a Geologist to conduct field mapping, sampling, and drilling supervision in search of new mineral deposits. The ideal candidate will combine geological expertise with a spirit of adventure and a commitment to data-driven exploration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in mining operations
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations
• Conduct geological surveys or site inspections
• Maintain mining equipment and report faults
• Coordinate with engineering and production teams
• Implement environmental protection measures

Requirements

• Relevant mining qualification or certification
• Proven experience in a mining environment
• Strong understanding of mine health and safety acts
• Physical fitness and ability to work in remote areas
• Valid blasting certificate or equivalent where required
