About the role
About
The Mission Data Engineer shall support EW system improvements and the development of mission data for the Combat Air Forces of Electronic Warfare and defensive systems of aircraft, radar warning receivers, ECM jammers, and ECM dispenser systems.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop and update threat databases using EWIR tools.
- Design and use computer-based tools to flag and extract threat systems parametric for analysis.
- Generate optimized EW Mission data software files.
- Perform rapid reprogramming of fielded MD in response to adversary threat changes.
- Provide advice and assistance in support of working groups, technical reviews, and other group activities, such as test plan working groups (TPWGs), project management reviews (PMRs), preliminary design reviews (PDRs), and critical design reviews (CDRs).
- Provide advice and assistance while attending program meetings and make recommendations on technical and functional process matters and decisions.
- Provide advice and assistance in preparing and presenting technical status briefings documenting progress, accomplishments, and problem areas affecting defined task areas.
Required Skills
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in EE or an engineering degree in a similar discipline with 8 years of experience, a master’s degree plus 6 years, or a PhD plus 4 years.
- Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
- Electronic Warfare Systems experience.
- Electronic Warfare Mission Data software production/modification.
