Enterprise Mobile Application Developer (iOS & Android)

About

Responsibilities

• Build native iOS apps (Swift/SwiftUI) and native Android apps (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose).
• Develop cross‑platform apps using Flutter and React Native.
• Integrate mobile apps with legacy COBOL and Java backend systems via REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Collaborate with backend teams to design API gateways and modernize access to legacy services.
• Implement UI/UX designs with responsive, consistent experiences across iOS and Android.
• Optimize performance using Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler, and best‑practice memory management.
• Write unit/integration tests; support automated testing (XCTest, Jest, Flutter Test).
• Configure CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitrise).
• Ensure secure communication, OAuth, encryption, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating mobile apps with legacy systems and building APIs.
• Proficiency with version control, cloud services, CI/CD, and debugging tools.
• Experience with cross‑platform development and UI/UX implementation.

Required Skills (Must Have)

Experience with at least 2 of the following:

• Swift
• Kotlin
• Flutter
• React Native
• Vue 3

Desired Skills

• iOS ecosystem: Swift/SwiftUI, Xcode, CocoaPods, UIKit, CoreData; App Store deployment.
• Android ecosystem: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android Studio, Gradle, Firebase.
• Flutter/Dart with strong state management (Provider, Riverpod).
• React Native with Redux and React Navigation.
• Vue 3 with Vuex and Vue Router.
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Location

On‑site, Woodlawn, MD (5 days/week)

Clearance

Must obtain/maintain Public Trust

Experience

Master’s +10 yrs / Bachelor’s +12 yrs / 18 yrs in lieu of degree
