About the role

About EverTry

At EverTry, we’re building financial tools that actually work for people in places where payments are broken. If you’ve ever had your card fail when it mattered, you already understand the problem. We’re fixing that.

We’re looking for a Flutter developer who cares about building things that don’t just work; they hold up under pressure. The kind of person who notices the small bugs others ignore. The kind of person who gets uneasy shipping something half-done.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for building and improving our mobile app, the core interface between our users and their money.

This isn’t a “feature factory” role. You’ll think, question, simplify, and build.

You’ll work closely with design and backend, but you won’t hide behind tickets. You’ll take ownership.

What You’ll Do

  • Build fast, reliable cross-platform apps using Flutter
  • Write code that is easy to read, easy to change, and hard to break
  • Improve performance across real-world devices (not just your emulator)
  • Catch problems before users ever see them
  • Integrate APIs that deal with real money, accuracy matters
  • Handle deployments to app stores without drama
  • Contribute to product decisions, not just implementation

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5+ years building mobile apps in Flutter
  • Strong understanding of Dart, Android, and iOS fundamentals
  • Experience working with APIs and external services
  • Familiarity with local storage (SQLite, Firebase, etc.)
  • You understand why bad UX costs real money
  • You write code like someone else will have to maintain it (because they will)
  • You care about edge cases
  • You can explain your thinking clearly

What This Is Not

  • Not a place to coast
  • Not a place where “it works on my machine” is acceptable
  • Not a place where someone else will clean up your work

What You Get

  • Competitive salary
  • Health insurance (medical, dental, vision)
  • Flexible remote work (we’re distributed)
  • Learning support (courses, workshops, conferences)
  • Real ownership and real impact

Why This Role Matters

We’re not building another social app. We’re building infrastructure people depend on.

When our app fails, someone can’t pay for school, tools, or opportunities. When it works, doors open.

That’s the bar.

How to Apply

Send:

  • Your CV
  • Links to apps you’ve built (App Store / Play Store preferred)
  • A short note explaining something you’ve built that you’re proud of, and why
