Mobile Developer (.Net Maui / Xamarin)

NB: ROLE IS ONLY OPEN TO CANDIDATES RESIDING IN SOUTH AFRICA. About the Role

You will join a dynamic development team to build,maintain, and enhance cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. Working in a collaborative hybrid environment, you will contribute to the full mobile development lifecycle — from architecture and design through to testing and deployment. Must-Have Requirements Experience & Technical Skills • 3–5+ years of software development experience with strong C# and .NET background • Proven experience building and maintaining cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android using Xamarin and/or .NET MAUI • Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and mobile design patterns • Experience with RESTful API integration and consuming web services in mobile apps • Familiarity with mobile app performance optimisation, debugging, and profiling • Version control using Git (branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews) Platform & Tooling • Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines (e.G.App Center, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) • Knowledge of platform-specific requirements for both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play) deployments Nice to Have • Experience with Azure cloud services and Azure Mobile Apps • Familiarity with Blazor Hybrid or MAUI Blazor patterns • Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies • Prior experience in a contract or client-facing environment • Knowledge of mobile security best practices and data encryption What You'll Be Doing • Designing and developing new features for Vivo's cross-platform mobile application(s) • Maintaining and improving existing Xamarin codebase while migrating to .NET MAUI • Collaborating with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive, performant mobile interfaces • Integrating with backend APIs and third-party SDKs • Participating in code reviews and contributing to team coding standards • Writing unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality • Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving defects across iOS and Android platforms About Us
