Technical Test Lead – Mobile Testing / Automation (Android)

Role Summary

Looking for a seasoned Mobile QA/Test Lead with hands-on experience in Android automation frameworks, who can design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test strategies for modern mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain manual and automated test cases for Android applications
• Execute functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Implement and maintain UI automation using Espresso and Appium
• Validate backend integrations using mocked/test APIs
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality and testability
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Report defects, track issues, and communicate quality status effectively
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Required Skills

• 8–10 years of experience in Software Testing / QA
• Strong expertise in:
  • Android UI Automation (Espresso, Appium)
  • Testing apps built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Experience in manual + automation testing frameworks
• Strong understanding of API validation and integration testing
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
