About the role

Job Summary

  • Evaluate and monitor outlet and channels profitability.
  • Establish the service standard for Mega Accounts, measure efficiency against the standard and close down the gaps.
  • In cases of credit customers (Megas) be responsible for debt reconciliation and recovery of aged debts
  • Do category analysis/brand analysis by Mega Account/Non mega and share the analysis with line managers.
  • Have deep knowledge of company products range (SKUs, brands name, flavor, packaging, freshness, prices, company policy in connection to merchandising, product freshness) and communicate same to customers.
  • Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale to a Key Account shopper resulting in the taking of market share from competitors in-store.
  • Ensure accurate data capture in Out of Stock and off-take reports and other records to achieve a quality database. Share the captured data with HO for analysis, review and improvement purposes.
  • Rotate stock at POS and replace overage stocks if necessary.
  • Work to a specified plan covering each location in-store/ different stores systematically to improve off-take of all BA products. Adherence to work hour schedule and route plan.
  • Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.
  • Inform management of any new developments in the store/ stores i.e. competitive activity, new product launch etc.
  • Create strong relationship with store-manager, floor operations, supervisors, syndicated merchandisers of the organization and other merchandisers of other companies.
  • Representing the company at trade promotions and expo’s Direct/guide, control and generally oversee the work of any direct & indirect associate placed under him/her.
  • Ensure products are available in good condition, if needed, rotate stock in first‑expiry first‑out basis (FEFO).
  • Ensure his/her planograms are always kept according to instructions.
  • Assist and involve in training of new recruits of merchandisers
  • Responsible for CREATION of demand from store and NOT JUST SERVICE the demand.

Salary

N150,000 - N200,000 per month (Sales Commission: varies based on performance).
