My client is seeking an Operations Manager for their moving and storage location on the Northwest side of Baltimore. It is expected that the hired candidate will go through a leadership rotation for developmental and promotional purposes.
Responsibilities
- Leading a teams in dispatch, estimation and sales, and office management.
- Being responsible for training, developing, mentoring, guiding office and warehouse personnel.
- Planning and managing labor and production hours.
- Being a cultural leader for the company’s values and mission.
- Promoting a safety-first culture.
- Planning daily and weekly work orders/jobs and assignments.
- Aiding in forming and executing a budget for the operation.
- Processing claims.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will possess most of the following traits:
- 4+ years of experience in leading working in management in the moving and storage industry.
- A demonstrated history of leadership in difficult situations.
- A solid history of helping others train and grow.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of software
- Knowledge of state and federal DOT regulations.
- A history of customer service representation.
