Role: MRTW Precollection Product Development Manager
Reports to: Head of MRTW PD Location: Paris CDD - Maternity cover, temporary contract Sept 2026 - Jan 2027 (approx)
THE ROLE
Sitting within the Ready-to-Wear Development Team, you will be responsible for driving the development of LOEWE’s Men’s ready-to-wear precollection, from sketch handover with the Studio, following the development of prototypes and final launches in close collaboration with suppliers, until sealed samples handover to production.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Be the collection development driving force, by coming up with proposals according to the creative vision and requirements of the studio: good knowledge of garment construction and mastery of technical language.
- Anticipate issues of feasibility, price and industrialisation and propose solutions accordingly.
- In close collaboration with manager, organize factory allocation after each session of post-fittings, and dispatch launches within the team, according to category split per developer
- Actively participate in fittings, write comments, prepare technical files, nomenclatures, launch sheets.
- Have a constant and fluid communication channel with the studio in order to follow and translate all their requests, being able to solve each problem raised.
- Coordinate information between the various departments in order to facilitate the process and communications between the material purchasing team, the fabrics and trims development team and the suppliers
- Update PLM daily, be the guarantor of system referencing and information reliability.
- Ensure the accuracy of BOMs, and different media, such as Sketch to fabric, fabric to sketch and pre-buy documents.
- Ensure compliance with schedules, delivery dates and collection deadlines.
- Check the conformity of the models to the delivery of the collection, collect and coordinate the flow of information relating to product development.
- Update budget tracking tools, track billing and supplier invoices.
- Update prices at each fitting and be able to make price estimates on models in development and ensure target margins are met.
- Maintain a strong link with the Merchandising team in order to ensure the smooth running of the collection in terms of commercial development.
- Ensure the reliability of information: material prices, component prices, manufacturing prices, jobs or finished product prices.
- Maintain a strong link with the Industrialization/Production teams all along development process of each collection, actively participate in standardisation trials after each fitting, in order to ensure the smooth running of the collection in terms of commercial development.
- Ensure the smooth transition of the collection to the production team during handover and standardisation.

THE CANDIDATE
- Graduated from a fashion or business school with 5-6 years minimum experience.
- Excellent knowledge of computer tools (Office / PLM).
- Organised, rigorous, precise and with a good sense of priorities.
- Dynamism, agility, curiosity, autonomy.
- Passionate about the world of fashion.
- Very strong product sensibility, sense of detail and quality.
- Good technical knowledge of the garment construction, with a special focus on woven – shirts, trousers, outerwear, denim.
- Good understanding and sensibility to industrialization/production imperatives
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enjoys working in a team.
- People management experience desirable.
- Good writing, analytical and synthesis skills, a confident communicator/presenter.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines in a demanding environment, keeping a caring atmosphere
- Good knowledge of the luxury sector.
- Excellent level of English, written and spoken. Italian and/or French a plus!
