Multi-Platform Mobile Application Developer

The Opportunity:

As an embedded sof tware engineer, you know how to create and maintain cru cia l pieces of sof tware. You use your knowledge to write and optimize code that creates a bridge between pieces of sof tware, allowing them to communicate. We're looking for an experienced embedded sof tware engineer like you to develop technology for our clients' most important mission-forward challenges.

As a senior Multi-Platform Mobile Application Developer at Booz Allen, you'll support the development of systems, sites, and tools for our clients. Using the latest tools and technology, you'll write, test, and edit code in support of the team's overall results. You'll expand your skills as you develop and reverse engineer sof tware that supports hardware functionality on a wide range of devices, as well as configure solutions based on the platform being used. You'll work with other team leaders to troubleshoot and correct operational issues, as well as with cybersecurity spe cia lists to ensure that the sof tware you're creating is secure.

You Have: • 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing sof tware programming applications using agile met hods • 5+ years of experience in sof tware development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks • Experience developing mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms using Kotlin Multiplatform ( KMP ) or Flutter • Experience with Kotlin, Java, or Dart • Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with back-end systems and third-party services • Experience with mobile application testing frameworks for both unit testing and UI automation • Experience with delivering offline or disconnected mobile functionality • Knowledge of app deployment processes, including App Store and Google Play submission guidelines • Ability to obtain Secret clearance • Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in sof tware engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have: • Experience with AWS GovCloud • Experience optimizing app performance and memory consumption • Experience with gamification in a mobile environment • Knowledge of AWS for mobile back-end support • Knowledge of mobile security best practices and encryption techniques • Knowledge of UI / UX principles • Ability to collaborate effectively with design teams • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
