A leading client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a skilled .NET Backend Developer to join their team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely and contribute to innovative projects focused on building event-sourced, microservices-based systems using .NET 8.

As a .NET Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering robust APIs, utilizing Dapr and the actor pattern with Orleans, and ensuring smooth integration with ERP systems. This role offers a collaborative environment where your ideas will be valued, and you will have the chance to work with a diverse team dedicated to reliable distributed design practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to implement event sourcing patterns.
• Develop backend services using .NET 8.
• Ensure seamless integration with ERP systems.
• Utilize the actor pattern (Orleans) for effective system design.
• Develop and maintain high-quality APIs.

Experience Requirements:

• Expertise in event sourcing and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in .NET 7 or .NET 8.
• Familiarity with Dapr and the sidecar pattern.
• Experience with the actor pattern using Orleans.
• API development experience is essential.
• Rust, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Docker, PostgreSQL, and CQRS experience are preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and a self-starter attitude.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
