We’re currently looking for a .NET Backend Developer (m/f/d) to join our Aircraft Configuration / Product Configuration (ACE) team (full-time, hybrid setup).

About the Role

Our Product Configuration line of business builds software that enables aircraft manufacturers to fully digitalize the definition of complex aircraft—from early concepts to detailed configurations.

As a backend developer in the ACE team, you’ll work on modern, cloud-native systems that form the core of this platform. You’ll be part of an agile SCRUM team using a modern CI/CD toolchain, contributing to systems where reliability, performance, and clean design really matter.

This role is designed for engineers early in their career who want to grow fast. We’re looking for people who are not just executing tasks, but actively exploring new technologies, thinking ahead, and aiming to become senior engineers in a short timeframe. You’ll be given real ownership early, with the support and mentorship needed to accelerate your development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for our ACE Product Configuration platform in C#/.NET.
• Design, implement, and test backend components in a cloud-native environment using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with PostgreSQL and contribute to data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Create and use RESTful APIs for integration with internal and customer-facing systems.
• Use AI tools for coding and learning (e.g., for faster prototyping, debugging, and knowledge acquisition).
• Contribute to the creation of AI-enabled services and support smart automation/features within our platform.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and bring new ideas into the team.
• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and domain experts.

Key Qualifications

• Mandatory
  • ~2 years of professional experience in backend or full-stack development.
  • Solid development skills in C#/.NET (.NET 8+).
  • Experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in the creation and use of RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on understanding of containerized development with Docker.
  • Basic experience or strong interest in Kubernetes / cloud-native deployments.
  • Comfortable using Git and working within CI/CD workflows.
  • Fluent in English.

  • Exposure to event-driven patterns (queues, pub/sub) or distributed systems.
  • Interest in aerospace or complex industrial domains.
  • Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 concepts (tokens, scopes, flows) or related auth frameworks.
