Your role in the team

• Development, maintenance, and further development of high-performance and stable APIs based on .NET for native iOS and Android apps.
• Design and implementation of new API endpoints in close coordination with native app teams.
• Ensuring scalability, security, and performance of the APIs.
• Optimization of existing services in terms of maintainability, stability, and extensibility.
• Active participation in the development of technical concepts, API designs, and development standards.
• Close collaboration with native app, backend, QA, UI/UX, and product teams throughout the entire development process.

Qualifications

• This position is aimed at experienced software developers (mid-level to senior) who want to take responsibility and develop high-quality backend solutions for mobile applications.
• Very good knowledge in software development within the Microsoft environment (C#, .NET).
• Good understanding of client/server architectures, HTTP, JSON, authentication and authorization concepts.
• Solid experience with Git and modern development workflows.
• Passion for Clean Code, clean architectures, and sustainable solutions.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and Azure DevOps is an advantage.
• Independent, structured way of working and high quality standards for one's own code.
• Good communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with colleagues from different departments.
• Fluent in German and English.

Experience

• Extensive experience in developing REST APIs.
• Experience with API design for mobile clients (iOS / Android).
• Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Education

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or comparable extensive professional experience as a .NET Developer.
