NetSuite Administrator / Specialist

About

Our valued client is seeking a hands-on NetSuite Administrator / Specialist to take ownership of a recently implemented NetSuite environment. This role will focus on system optimization, reporting, EDI, and integrations, while supporting key business functions across the organization. This role is a Hybrid role based in the West Island of Montreal.

Key Responsibilities

NetSuite Administration & Optimization

• Own and manage the NetSuite ERP platform post go-live
• Configure and maintain roles, permissions, workflows, forms, and custom fields
• Ensure system performance, stability, and data integrity
• Lead ongoing enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives

Reporting & Data Insights

• Build and maintain saved searches, dashboards, and custom reports
• Improve data visibility to support operational and strategic decisions
• Ensure consistency and accuracy across systems

Business Systems Analysis

• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, operations, and supply chain
• Gather requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement

Integrations & EDI Management

• Monitor and support integrations between NetSuite and external platforms
• Oversee EDI processes and transactions with retail partners
• Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure reliable data flow
• Support middleware/iPaaS tools (e.g., Workato or similar)

Ongoing Support & Development

• Provide day-to-day troubleshooting and user support
• Contribute to light development/customization (e.g., SuiteScript or similar)
• Maintain documentation and support user training/adoption

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 5+ years of experience in NetSuite administration
• Strong hands-on expertise with NetSuite (configuration, workflows, reporting)
• Experience supporting a live NetSuite environment
• Experience with EDI systems and integrations
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with middleware/iPaaS tools (e.g., Workato or similar)
• Exposure to SuiteScript or NetSuite custom development
• Background in retail, consumer goods, or distribution environments
• Experience supporting order management, inventory, or supply chain workflows
