Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Network Architect based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for remote work. The Network Architect will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing network systems. Key responsibilities include creating network architectures, ensuring robust security practices, optimizing network performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that align with business objectives. The candidate will also contribute to network troubleshooting and ensure alignment with industry standards and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Network Architecture and Design, with experience in creating scalable and reliable network solutions.
• Skills in Network Administration and Network Engineering, including configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of networks.
• Proficiency in Network Security to ensure systems are secure and safeguarded against potential threats.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience troubleshooting complex network issues.
• Familiarity with current and emerging networking technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage hybrid work dynamics effectively.
