Network & Connectivity Engineer - LAN / WAN / Security / Voic (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Planning, setup, and operation of modern network architectures in LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and datacenter environments
• Ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the entire network and communication infrastructure
• Monitoring, maintenance, and continuous optimization of network systems, including error analysis and incident processing
• Support in 2nd and 3rd level support, as well as participation in on-call and standby duty
• Management and further development of communication platforms, including IP telephony and collaboration services

Qualifications

• Completed education in IT or comparable qualification (University of Applied Sciences/Higher Vocational School advantageous) with several years of experience in the network field
• In-depth know-how in TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, Network Access Control, VPN, and firewall technologies
• Experience with modern network and security technologies, ideally with manufacturers such as Fortinet, Extreme Networks, or comparable solutions
• Understanding of IT security principles and their application in network operations
• Independent, solution-oriented, and team-capable personality with a high degree of customer orientation
