Network Engineer

Your role in the team

• They develop network concepts and implement them.
• You actively participate in customer projects.
• You will be responsible for the design and implementation of routing and switching with a focus on 4G mobile communications.
• You support the operation, expansion, and further development of Cisco LAN/WAN infrastructure and create the technical documentation.
• You will handle 2nd Level Support and act as the interface to our customers and manufacturers.
• You collaborate with internal departments and external project partners.
• You will assist in managing the IT system landscape and undertake administrative tasks as needed.

What we offer

• The collective agreement monthly gross salary for this position is EUR 3,530.00 (full-time).
• The actual gross monthly salary depends on your qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Ethernet & IP, Routing, Switching, Security (e.g., Cisco, Nokia, Firewalls).
• Know-how in troubleshooting TCP/IP, VPN, IPSec, and network security.
• Basic knowledge in the field of system administration or willingness to support in this area.
• Class B driver's license.
• Very good German and English skills for our international environment.

Experience

• Ideally, professional experience in a similar role and/or relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, or similar).

Education

• Completed technical training in information/communication technology or a comparable qualification.
