Network Engineer

Network Engineers manage core network infrastructure, ensuring performance, reliability, and security. They handle site connectivity and APN escalations, maintain servers, administer RADIUS, implement security measures, and lead network projects. Responsibilities also include user management, office network oversight, and training staff.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Escalations (Sites/APN):

Resolve escalations related to site connectivity and APN issues with minimal downtime.

Core Network Management:

Maintain and optimize core network infrastructure.

Monitor performance, apply updates, and ensure scalability.

Server & RADIUS Management:

Manage servers, ensuring security and efficiency.

Administer RADIUS servers, ensuring compliance and performance.

Security:

Implement and manage network security measures.

Conduct audits and enforce security policies.

New Projects:

Lead and execute network projects, collaborating on design and deployment.

Ensure secure authentication and authorization of users.

User Management:

Oversee user accounts, permissions, and access control.

Maintain records of user access and activity.

Office Network:

Ensure seamless office network connectivity and troubleshoot issues.

Training & Support:

Train team members and end-users on network-related topics.

Maintain a shared resource for knowledge-sharing.

General:

Assist other departments with queries.

Support after-hours operations to meet SLAs.

Package & Remuneration

R20 000 - R30 000 CTC.
