Network Engineer Intermediate

About

The Network Engineer Intermediate will be responsible for hands-on administration of network and hardware infrastructure. This role requires onsite presence and involves installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of enterprise network environments, working across both hardware and software components.

Responsibilities

• Administer network and hardware infrastructure including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Support routing and switching across enterprise and data center environments.
• Manage and support data center network architectures.
• Administer and maintain WAN accelerators and SDWAN solutions.
• Support wired and wireless network environments including WiFi infrastructure.
• Introduce and integrate new network equipment into the existing environment.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and issue resolution for network-related incidents.
• Work onsite five days a week to support operational and business needs.

Requirements/Must Have

• Strong experience in routing and switching.
• Experience with data center architectures.
• Experience with WAN accelerators.
• Experience with SDWAN technologies.
• Experience with enterprise WiFi solutions.

Skills

• Cisco, Arista, and Aruba switches.
• Data center networking equipment.
• Aruba wireless solutions.
• Silver Peak SDWAN.
• Riverbed WAN accelerators.

Experience

• Experience in both network hardware and software administration.
• Ability to switch between hardware and software responsibilities as required.
• Experience introducing new network equipment into production environments.

Qualification And Education

• Relevant networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred.
