About the role
Role Overview
The Network Engineer will support Security Network Services network tooling across the enterprise. This role covers voice services, configuration management, fault management, performance monitoring, and WiFi tools. The engineer will handle both engineering and operational activities, including lab validation, system upgrades, migrations, vendor engagement, and production issue resolution. This is a hybrid contingent position requiring an onsite presence three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Network Management Systems (NMS) across enterprise platforms.
- Perform engineering and operational support for assigned network products.
- Execute lab work, system upgrades, migrations, and tool enhancements.
- Support fault, configuration, and performance management tooling.
- Manage vendor interactions and tooling certifications.
- Support incident management and production issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and security requirements.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, network engineering, and operations teams.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Network Engineering experience, supporting moderately complex enterprise initiatives.
- 5+ years of Linux experience in enterprise or large-scale environments.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Network Management Systems (NMS) tooling.
- Experience supporting network tooling for voice, fault management, performance management, and configurations.
- Ability to support both engineering and operational responsibilities, including lab work, upgrades, migrations, incident management, and vendor support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a large enterprise or financial services organization.
- Exposure to Security Network Services (SNS) tooling.
- Experience with tools such as Ribbon Analytics, Ciena MCP, Dynatrace, or other enterprise NMS platforms.
- CCNA certification.
Compensation
Pay Rate: $59.00/hr - $63.00/hr
