We are seeking a motivated and skilled Network Engineer to join our team at HCD Consulting GmbH. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining complex network solutions for our clients, focusing on technologies such as HPE Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet, and Cisco. You will work closely with sales, support, and project teams to deliver high-quality network projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to clients and colleagues alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced environment, contribute to innovative projects, and develop your expertise in network automation and security. • *Qualifications** • Completed studies in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a comparable IT-related qualification. Career changers are welcome! • Proficiency in routing, switching, firewalls, and WLAN planning, with experience using tools like Ekahau or Hamina. • Experience in automating and optimizing networks with tools such as Ansible, Python, or NetBox is advantageous. • Enjoyment in direct customer contact and the ability to explain technical topics clearly and understandably. • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time. • Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken. • Key qualities include willingness to learn, proactive thinking, quick onboarding, openness to new ideas, and taking responsibility.
