Network Engineer - WLAN, LAN & Security (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will plan and implement modern network infrastructures (switch, WLAN, and firewall)
• You will be responsible for positioning access points, including illumination and capacity assessment
• Additionally, you will set up and commission switch networks
• During ongoing operation, you will ensure the security and stability of the systems
• In case of disruptions, you will analyze problems and resolve them directly at the customer's site

Qualifications

• Ideally, you have completed an apprenticeship in IT
• You bring several years of experience in the network environment
• You have in-depth technical knowledge in the areas of WLAN and LAN, especially in security
• You are familiar with technologies such as Cisco and Fortinet and have experience in monitoring (PRTG)
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form characterize you
