We are looking for a Network Evaluator to join a growing team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The Network Evaluator will assess operational and developmental networks and systems for vulnerabilities and susceptibility to network‑based attacks, identify weaknesses, recommend countermeasures, and support the implementation of security solutions across mission environments. The role includes analyzing network traffic, system configurations, and security posture, producing evaluation reports, and briefing stakeholders on findings and recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Experience working in a cybersecurity or network security domain
- Experience with vulnerability analysis, network analysis, or protocol analysis
- Familiarity with network security tools (e.g., SNORT, traceroute, diagnostic utilities)
- Understanding of systems architecture and security principles
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Requirements
Level 1
- A Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or
- An Associate’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or
- At least 18 semester hours of military coursework in networking, computer science, or cyber topics with 4 years of relevant experience
- Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Level 2
- A Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or
- A Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or
- A Doctoral degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or
- An Associate’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience, or
- At least 18 semester hours of military coursework with 7 years of relevant experience
- Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Level 3
- A Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or
- A Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or
- A Doctoral degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or
- An Associate’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or
- At least 18 semester hours of military coursework with 10 years of relevant experience
- Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Level 4
- A Bachelor’s degree with 11 years of relevant experience, or
- A Master’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience, or
- A Doctoral degree with 7 years of relevant experience, or
- An Associate’s degree with 13 years of relevant experience, or
- At least 18 semester hours of military coursework with 13 years of relevant experience
- Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
Pay Range
$49,996.80 – $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not a guaranteed final compensation. Official compensation depends on factors such as position level, job complexity, location, experience, education, certifications, contract labor categories, and wage rates.
