About the role

Summary

The Manager of Network & Platform Engineering oversees the design, operation, security, and scalability of the organization’s network, server, and cloud infrastructure. This role leads a global infrastructure environment—including on‑prem, cloud, and SaaS platforms—while managing staff, budgets, and long-term technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network, server, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure performance, availability, monitoring, and troubleshooting across all platforms.
  • Partner with IT Security to implement and maintain network and infrastructure security controls.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network and platform engineers.
  • Own infrastructure budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership on infrastructure strategy, upgrades, and scaling initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation and report on infrastructure performance and risks.

Technical Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Aruba networking (switching, routing, wireless).
  • Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and SD-WAN architectures.
  • Experience managing AWS cloud environments.
  • Significant experience supporting a predominantly SaaS application ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise networking, server platforms, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing IT teams.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Confident communicator with experience presenting to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7–10 years of infrastructure experience; 5+ years in management.
