What awaits you
- You operate and configure firewalls, routers, switches, and other security systems and continuously develop our network and security architecture.
- You plan, implement, and administer our network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN) and develop concepts for SD-WAN, SASE.
- You ensure a highly available and resilient network and security infrastructure.
- You conduct vulnerability analyses and security checks and derive suitable measures for improving IT security.
- You take over incident management in the area of network and IT security and ensure sustainable error analysis and resolution.
- You monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance as well as monitoring and logging systems and document our IT infrastructure and security processes in a structured manner.
What you bring
- You have completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, IT security, or a comparable qualification.
- You have several years of professional experience in network and security administration.
- You have sound knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, and VPN.
- You are familiar with modern network architectures, ideally also SD-WAN.
- You have experience in operating highly available network and security environments.
- You have experience with firewalls and security solutions (e.g., Fortinet) as well as knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments and common IT security standards (ISO 27001, BSI-Grundschutz).
