The L3 Network & Security Engineer will be responsible for the design, deployment, optimisation, and advanced support of Fortinet NGFW and Forti-SD-WAN solutions across enterprise and service provider environments. The role involves large-scale WAN transformation, security policy enforcement, and L3/L4 escalation support.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement FortiGate firewall and Forti-SD-WAN architectures.

• Deploy, configure, and migrate multi-site WAN environments (MPLS, Internet, LTE/5G).

• Implement application-aware routing, SLA-based path selection, and traffic steering.

• Configure IPSec and SSL VPNs, firewall policies, NAT, and security profiles.

• Manage devices centrally using FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.

• Provide L3/L4 troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and incident resolution.

• Support change management, maintenance windows, and non-impacting changes.

• Produce HLD/LLD, as-built documentation, and operational runbooks.

• 6+ years Network & Security engineering experience

• 3+ years hands-on Fortinet experience • Experience with 100+ site SD-WAN deployments preferred

• Fortinet NSE4 – Mandatory

• NSE5 / NSE7 or equivalent certifications – Advantage
