Role

In this role, you will shape modern IT infrastructures with a focus on networks and security, ensuring that demanding environments on-premises, in the cloud, or in hybrid scenarios function reliably. You will be responsible for ensuring that IT applications in the data center and in customer environments run stably, performantly, and securely. You will rely on leading technologies in the areas of basic infrastructure, LAN, WLAN, security, communication, management, and modern workplaces. You will act as the central point of contact for customers in all IT-related matters, especially networks and security, and convince with your customer-oriented, solution-oriented approach. Together with an experienced team, you will significantly contribute to ensuring that users can work without disruptions and that IT solutions are continuously developed.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will conceptualize and configure modern customer environments with a focus on network and security as well as infrastructure projects
• You will take responsibility for demanding IT projects from conception to successful acceptance
• In everyday life, you will ensure the maintenance and support of customer networks and act in a solution-oriented manner
• With your curiosity, you will continuously develop in the area of Network and Security and think outside the box
• After a short onboarding, you will work independently, self-responsibly, and at the same time in a team-oriented manner

Qualifications

• You have completed IT training or are pursuing an IT degree with corresponding professional experience
• Very good knowledge in the area of networks (switching, routing, WLAN) with certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or equivalent is available
• Knowledge in the area of firewalls, especially Fortigate, as well as experience with security technologies are available.
• Very good German, both written and spoken, and strong communication skills round off your profile
