You will work directly with Persistents engineering teams, gaining global exposure while being supported by Pratisvara Technologies for payroll, HR, and onboarding. • *Project Highlights & Work Environment** • Work closely with Persistent Systems and collaborate on a key project for their clients • Stable, multi-year engagement with strong long-term project visibility. • Transparent employment on payroll with Pratisvara Technologies (authorized staffing partner). • *Network / Security Engineer L3 (Senior Engineer)** • *Key Responsibilities** • *Network Engineering & Administration** • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure: LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, data-center networks, and branch connectivity. • Manage routers, switches, load balancers, and network segmentation (VLANs, VRF, routing, NAT, ACLs, port-channel, failover, high availability). • Handle dynamic routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), MPLS, QoS, VRF, failover configurations ensuring reliability, resilience and performance in enterprise and data-center environments. • *Security Engineering & Operations** • Deploy, configure, manage, and maintain network security devices and platforms: next-gen firewalls, traditional firewalls, VPN gateways (IPSec/SSL), intrusion detection/prevention (IDS/IPS), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), NAC, VPNs/remote-access. • Define, implement, and enforce security policies, access control lists (ACLs), threat prevention rules, segmentation, remote access controls, secure tunneling, and VPN configurations. • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analysis, risk assessments on existing infrastructure; recommend and implement remediation measures or enhancements. • Manage firmware updates, patching, configuration backups, disaster recovery (DR) preparedness for network & security devices. • *Skills Required** • Strong, demonstrated expertise in routing/switching, dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.), LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, and data-center networking. • Hands-on experience with firewalls / security appliances e.g.
Palo Alto
Networks, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower/FTD, IDS/IPS, WAFs, VPN gateways, NAC, etc. • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; ability to work with packet captures, protocol analysers (Wireshark/tcpdump), log analysis, incident response and root cause analysis. • Knowledge of security standards & compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, corporate policies) and ability to document, enforce, and audit compliance. • Good communication skills, ability to work collaboratively across teams, liaise with vendors or external parties, and provide technical leadership / mentorship. • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects, and work under pressure often required for on-call support, incident resolution, and after-hours emergencies. • Security / vendor certifications (e.g. PCNSE, CCNP Security, CCIE / equivalent) or firewall vendor credentials. • Experience with cloud networking and hybrid cloud security (AWS / Azure / GCP), data-center & DR environments, virtualization platforms.
Familiarity with SIEM tools, vulnerability management, patch management, logging and monitoring, firmware upgrades, backup management.
