We are looking for a Network & Security Engineer (m/f/d) at DETLEF HEGEMANN Verwaltungs- und Beteiligungs GmbH starting immediately at the Bremen location.

Your Responsibilities

• Further development and operation of our network landscape (LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN) across 14 locations and mobile construction sites
• Working with components from leading manufacturers such as Cisco and Aruba
• Building stable, secure, and highly available network connections
• Support with WAN modernization projects (e.g., SD-WAN)
• Operation and optimization of our firewall systems
• Monitoring of the group-wide EDR solution and evaluation of security-relevant events
• Implementation of security concepts (Zero Trust, segmentation, policies)
• Operation of central monitoring and logging systems
• Participation in the setup and operation of hybrid cloud architectures
• Support with business continuity and emergency drills
• Use of modern automation approaches (e.g., scripting, Ansible)
• Documentation of network and security architectures
• Close cooperation with the IT infrastructure team and external partners

Your Profile

• Training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) | IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d) or comparable training
• Several years of experience in the network and security environment
• Good knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN
• Practical experience with Cisco / Aruba is an advantage
• Experience with monitoring/logging solutions and EDR systems
• Ideally, knowledge of cloud networking (Azure) or automation
• Structured and responsible way of working
• Enjoyment of modern infrastructure and IT security
• Team orientation and clear communication
• Knowledge of English is an advantage
