Job Description

Must Have Skills

• Strong Networking Fundamentals (BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP)
• Cisco Routing & Switching
• Python Scripting / Network Automation
• CI/CD Pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins)
• Kubernetes & DevOps Tools (supporting skill, not primary)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in Network Engineering / Network SRE roles
• Hands-on experience in routing, switching, and network protocols
• Experience with Python scripting or automation in networking
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Git-based deployments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale data center or cloud network deployments
• Knowledge of OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) or similar cloud platforms
• Familiarity with Arista, Cisco, and enterprise-grade network hardware
• Understanding of IPv6, DNS, DHCP, VPN, IPSEC, SSL
• Exposure to multi-cloud and hybrid cloud networking

Responsibilities

• Deploy greenfield network infrastructure and enable connectivity for new cloud regions and sites
• Support brownfield scaling (rack adds, compute expansion, decommissioning)
• Build and manage data center fabrics, backbone, edge, and metro fiber networks
• Execute region builds, DRCC expansions, and multi-cloud integrations
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and internal tools
• Create Python-based automation scripts to reduce manual efforts
• Work on protocols like BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6
• Handle Jira-based network infrastructure tasks and project assignments
• Participate in team/project discussions and coordinate with stakeholders
• Follow security and operational best practices
• Provide weekend/on-call support when required
