Responsibilities

• Implementation of Security Solutions: You install, configure, and administer network security infrastructures. This includes firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and SSL and VPN solutions. You carry out migrations independently and ensure stable, trouble-free operation of our customers' IT systems.
• Analysis and Troubleshooting: You systematically isolate faults, develop workarounds, and actively participate in problem, change, and release management.
• Planning: You design and optimize network and security solutions.
• Documentation: You maintain operating manuals and document faults in the ticket system.

Profile

• Qualification: You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical qualification.
• Technological Know-how: You have extensive practical experience with IT security solutions.
• Manufacturer Know-how: You have sound knowledge of security solutions from Fortinet (FortiGate/FortiOS, FortiGate-VM, FortiAnalyzer/Manager, FortiClient) or Checkpoint products (firewalls, Threat Prevention).
• Certifications (Advantageous): Fortinet NSE 4 or higher, Check Point Certifications CCSA or CCSE.
• Personal Competencies: You work analytically, structurally, and customer-orientedly and convince with strong communication skills.
• Language Skills: You have fluent German in spoken and written form and good English skills.
