Department Overview

The Supply Chain New Product Introduction team is essential in launching new products across our global manufacturing sites and distribution centers, focusing on Communication Infrastructure products. Our collaborative environment ensures the efficient execution of the MSI Product Lifecycle Launch Process.

Job Description

As a Program Manager, you will lead and coordinate all activities from the initial phase through the production launch of new products across multiple manufacturing sites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams that include Supply Chain, Procurement, Development Engineering, and external manufacturing partners. Your role will include:

• Developing your expertise and becoming the go-to contact for New Product Introduction, identifying and implementing cost-effective solutions that align with engineering and business goals.
• Organizing programs within the global Supply Chain guidelines.
• Creating schedules and budgets that align with Supply Chain objectives.
• Applying project management methodologies to meet Schedule, Cost, and Quality targets from inception to launch.
• Utilizing best practices to create schedules and identify critical path elements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, resources, and budget.
• Providing accurate and timely status reports throughout the program’s lifecycle.
• Presenting updates to Directors and Senior Directors within Supply Chain.
• Addressing Supply Chain issues that could impact production and new product introduction.
• Managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are met.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple programs within a matrix organization.
• A passion for working in a dynamic environment with diverse products and fulfillment models.
• Strong communication skills to convey project status, technical risks, and recommendations to various stakeholders.
• Flexibility in work hours and a willingness to travel up to 25%.
• PMP certification is preferred.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing).
• 5+ years of experience in engineering within a mid to high-volume manufacturing setting involving device and SMT assembly, hardware development, supply chain process engineering, or program management.
