Coopman are delighted to partner with a leading organisation in Dublin seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their finance team. This opportunity is ideally suited to candidates coming from practice who are looking to make their first move into industry.

The successful candidate will gain strong commercial exposure, working closely with senior finance leaders and key business stakeholders. This role offers hands-on experience in financial reporting, analysis, and business partnering within a dynamic and growing financial services environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, the Accountant will support financial reporting, regulatory requirements, and commercial finance activities across asset/wealth management or aircraft leasing operations.

You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information, supporting decision-making, and contributing to ongoing business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
• Assist with financial reporting and year-end processes
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful insights to management
• Assist with regulatory and compliance reporting requirements
• Liaise with auditors and support audit processes
• Review reconciliations and ensure strong financial controls
• Identify process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function

Candidate Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or due to qualify this year
• Training background in audit, ideally with exposure to financial services, asset/wealth management, or aircraft leasing clients
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Commercial mindset with an eagerness to learn and develop in industry
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative team environment
