Node.js Developer (TypeScript / AWS Serverless)

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Node.js Developer with strong expertise in TypeScript to build scalable, serverless applications on AWS. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing event-driven microservices architectures and working with modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop serverless applications using Node.js and TypeScript
• Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices on AWS
• Develop scalable solutions using event-driven architecture
• Implement and manage AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3
• Work with Infrastructure-as-Code (CDK / CloudFormation)
• Integrate applications with messaging systems like SNS and SQS
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications using CloudWatch
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and maintain DevOps best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with Nest.js (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora, S3, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch)
• Experience building serverless REST APIs and microservices
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (CDK / CloudFormation)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps practices and automation
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and best practices
• Experience working in secure or regulated environments

Additional Notes

• US Citizenship with security clearance eligibility is mandatory
• Hybrid role with minimal onsite requirement (2 days/month)
• W2 only (no exceptions)
