About
Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) division is seeking a Regional Project Manager responsible for directing execution of preventive maintenance, retrofit, startup, and commissioning projects in conjunction with District Operations Centers (DOCs). The Project Manager oversees planning, execution, monitoring, control, and job closure activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Receive job handoffs and complete initial technical, scope of work, and scheduling requirement reviews.
- Utilize project management tools and software to maintain adherence to milestones and deliverables on site.
- Coordinate project meetings and formal communication plans to key stakeholders.
- Determine mechanisms for successful job closeout including punch lists, issue resolution, warranty, and transition to owner.
- Serve as primary point of contact throughout project duration.
- Collaborate with DOC team to communicate safety program initiatives and concerns to customers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Provide financial oversight through cost control, warranty, change order management, and risk mitigation.
- Work with commercial operations teams to reconcile client expectations with order commitments, change orders, and timelines.
- Review pipeline with local Service Sales Specialist, DOC Manager, and Regional Director to identify orders requiring project management.
- Assist Construction Management activities including coordination of field service resources, schedules, and communication.
- Provide onsite support at active construction locations performing inspections, progress reviews, and issue resolution.
- Travel within the United States as required to support construction activities, meetings, and site visits.
- Act as backup or supplemental resource to Construction Manager during peak workloads or absences.
- Collaborate with Construction Managers and field teams to align project scope, schedule, and financials.
- Travel up to 50% within and outside region when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years experience leading/managing electrical, construction, or industrial projects or 5 years experience in services, sales, or manufacturing of electrical distribution products.
- Minimum 3 years technical experience in electrical installation, design, services, or construction.
- Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
- Must reside within 50 miles of location listed in job description.

Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or Commissioning Agent Certification.
- 5+ years electrical field services experience.
- 5+ years managing electrical construction or commissioning projects as project manager or construction manager.
- Proficiency in project management and construction industry software packages.
- OSHA 10- & 30-hour general industry or construction certification.
Skills

Additional Information
- Travel requirements: approximately 50%; preference for staffing within home region.
- No relocation benefit provided; candidates must reside within 50 miles of local DOC.
- Hybrid work option with minimum three days in office each week.
